The Institute of Governance and Peace building in Africa (herein also referred to as the "IGOPA") is a not-for-profit organisation that was founded by a group of its members led by Tanya Atany Kanyaguine, with strong support of a high level advisory panel.

The Institute of Governance and Peace building in Africa (IGOPA) is an independent, non-partisan institution which will work to promote peace building, good governance and health care in Africa. The institute will also be implementing a number of healthcare and socio-economic development projects ranging from adequate education, sanitation and curbing issues like HIV AIDS, malaria etc.
