Ms Dr. Tanya Atany Kagnaguine is an accomplished Pan-Africanist, Entrepreneur and expert in Governance, Democracy and Political Affairs. Dr Kagnaguine also has an extensive experience in communications, public relations, investment, business advisory, translation and interpretation. Dr Kagnaguine has served at the forefront of international development over the past 20 years across the continent of Africa with duties at the Africa Union (AU), the UN regional Centre for Peace and Disarmament in Africa, the Africa Peer Review Mechanism (APRM), the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) with support to key continental bodies such as the Pan-African Parliament, ECOWAS and SADC.
Dr. Tanya Kagnaguine is the Founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Omari Coaching and Communications, a coaching company based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Dr Kagnaguine is also the Chief Executive Officer of TK Communications, a renowned Communications, Branding, Translation and Interpretation company based in Lomé, Togo, Accra, Ghana and Johannesburg, South Africa.
TK Communications has been operational since 2010 and has provided excellent services to high level companies worldwide and employs a great number of staff members and consultants in Togo, in South Africa, in Africa and all over the world. Dr Tanya Kagnaguine is also Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Temara Medical Travel, a renowned medical tourism company based in Johannesburg, South Africa, with affiliates and offices in: Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Ghana, Bangalore, India, London, United Kingdom, Malaga, Spain, Rabat, Morocco and many others.
Dr. Tanya Kagnaguine is also the Chief Executive Officer and the Founder of the Institute for Governance and Peace building in Africa (IGOPA) an independent, nonpartisan institution working to promote and strengthen good governance and peace building in Africa. Furthermore, Dr. Tanya Kagnaguine is the Chief Executive Officer of Business Development and Technology Group Limited, a leading business advisory and consultancy firm in Togo and in South Africa that connects businesses globally, particularly linking African businesses with foreign investors.
Dr. Kagnaguine is also the CEO of FAFA Creations, a bespoke Afrocentric fashion label in South Africa. In July 2020, Dr Tanya Atany K Kagnaguine was appointed Director for Africa for the International Association of Canadians in Africa (IACA). In January 2021. Dr Kagnaguine was appointed United Nations Peace Ambassador in February 2020 Dr. Tanya Kagnaguine was also appointed Chairperson for Togo of China-Arab-Africa Business Chamber in October 2020. In February 2021, Dr . Tanya Kagnaguine was appointed Board Member and Country Director (Togo and South Africa) for Kory Africa Agency, a renowned and high-level Communication Agency which operates in African and beyond.
Dr. Kagnaguine is an International Elections Observer of the African Union, having successfully covered a number of Presidential and Parliamentary elections in Africa. She leverages her high level contacts and rich professional experience to negotiate and broker investment deals for major foreign investors in Africa and also links established resident African businesses with investors globally. She holds a Doctorate Degree in Leadership, a Postgraduate Honours Degree in translation and interpretation studies, Diplomas and certificates. Dr. Kagnaguine speaks and writes excellent English and French with knowledge of German. She is highly networked and travelled.
